5-10 years experience in electrical system design for buildings, including hotel/ resort, multifamily, commercial, office and high rise buildings
PE Preferred
Thorough understanding of NYC Building Code, International Building Code, NEC, ASHRAE 90.1
Experience with the following:
- Conceptual Design Alternatives and Comparisons
- Electrical Load calculations
- Emergency Power/ Generators
- Switchgear/ Transformers/ Distribution Panels
- Branch Circuiting
- Lighting Control Systems
- Fire Alarm Systems
- Shop Drawings/ Submittals/ Construction Administration
Must be self-motivated and able to work as part of fast paced team on a variety of challenging projects.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to communicate effectively with clients, owners architects and other parties involved on the project.
Innovative approach to design who can provide creative and unique solutions
Project management skills and ability to manage designers, drafters or engineers.

0-3 years experience in electrical system design for buildings, including hotel/ resort, multifamily, commercial, office and high rise buildings
EIT Preferred
